Business/Education/Religious Visas

REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid passport (at least 6 months validity)
  • One recent passport photograph
  • A copy of round-trip air tickets
  • If going for business, letters of invitation from companies or business organizations stating the reason for visit must be submitted.
  • If going for religious purposes, approval from the Federal Ministry of Internal Affairs, Abuja, Nigeria must be submitted.
  • If going for educational visit a letter of invitation from the Host University or school stating its purpose must be submitted.
  • If a student, you must submit a copy of your identification card, with an accompanying letter from your institution.
  • Appropriate fee in US money order
  • Duly completed application form.
  • Application for Religious Visa takes five business days

Subject to regularization (STR)

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid passport (at least 6 months validity)
  • Completed application forms in quadruplicate (i.e. 4 copies)
  • Four recent full face passport size photographs.
  • Four certified copies of expatriate quota approval from Nigeria or approval from Nigeria for STR
  • Four certified copies of all credentials and certificates
  • Four copies – Letter of offer of employment
  • Four copies – Letter of acceptance of employment offer
  • Appropriate fee in US money order.
  • Four copies of Up-to-date Resume
  • Police clearance report.
  • Application for STR visa takes 5 business days.

Temporary work permit (TWP)

REQUIREMENTS

  • A valid passport (at least 6 months valid)
  • One recent passport size photograph
  • Approval from Nigeria/Immigration Service for temporary work permit(copy)
  • Appropriate fee in US money order
  • Duly completed application form.
  • Letter from company in Nigeria requesting (TWP)

Requirements for Authentication of Certification of Free Sale

Certificate must be issued by the US FDA or relevant Department of Health or Agriculture.
Certificate must carry the seal of the relevant issuing office.
Certificate must state categorically that “the product is safe for use or consumption and is freely sold in the United States”.
Money order for $60.00 per certificate – *please note that this is under review.

  3. The General Public is hereby notified that LYNXSYS: An IT Firm/Consultant with a web site domain name NIGERIANPASSPORTNOW.COM who purportedly acts and renders Consular, Visa, Payment Confirmation and Express Delivery services on behalf of the Consultant is a Hoax and should be avoided. 
  4. The Consulate wishes to categorically state, that it has nothing to do with the aforementioned business concern as it cannot guarantee its Authenticity. In this light, therefore whoever conducts business with it does as his own risk.
  5. OPENING OF A NIGERIA VISA SORTING AND CLEARANCE CENTER OPERATED BY OIS SERVICES ON BEHALF OF THE CONSULATE OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA. This is to inform the General Public that a visa collection and sorting center has been opened and is operated by OIS Services on behalf of the Consulate General of Nigeria.
