It is hereby notified for information of the general public that the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has approved the shift of the deadline of phase-out date of Machine Readable Passport (MRP) from December 31, 2010 to April 30, 2011 The extension is in cognizance of the fact that a large number of Nigerian citizens in the Diaspora are yet to be issued with the new e-Passport.
